Website Search Engine Optimization Services

"Everyone wants a website nowadays and lots of webmasters will put one up for you. But what good is a website if it's listed on page 25 of Google, MSN or Yahoo? If you want your small business or home office business to be seen on the net, and you do not have a huge advertising budget for things like "pay per click" advertising services, you need to optimize your site for the search engines and provide lots of content for your prospective clients and customers."

Virtual Assistant Crosby specializes in getting your business (its keywords) on the first few pages of the major search engines. Get help from someone who knows how to do it.

Hey, did you know that if you optimize your website so that it is ranked high in the search engines, you can:

Save boat loads of money on advertising cost

Ensure that prospective clients and customers can find you and the product or services you have to offer

Save you the time and expense of creating a huge advertising campaign

Dear Reader,

Managing a small office or home office can be a challenge all by itself. Oftentimes you feel inadaquate to handle all the things that go into running it.

At first everyone told you that you must have a website in today's business market. So you went out and got one.

No I won't ask how much you spent getting it set up, but what I would like to know is whether you are receiving any referrals from your website? After all, an investment should have a return.

Does your Alexa ranking (Alexa.com) indicate that your website is ranked "6,000,000" or worst yet, do you have a "No Data" ranking?

Maybe you don't know what any of that has to do with why you aren't getting any traffic to your site. But no matter because the bottom line is that there are only two types of traffic that ultimately comes to your site:

Paid Traffic

Unpaid Traffic

My specialty at VAC is in getting unpaid traffic (interested visitors, browsers, prospective clients / customers) to your site. One proof that my method works is that you are here right now reading this page.

In fact, I really can not even tell you how to get paid traffic to your site because I have never had to pay for any of mine and I've been online for almost three years now. Knock on wood. And, all of my sites consistently rank in the top 1 to 5% of all websites visited on the net.

So what's the secret, you ask? Well, there really is no secret to the process, although there are lots of ingredients that go into getting your site ranked high in the search engine. Some of them include:

Having lots of informational content on your website related to your product or service, since people come to the web searching for information first and your product or service second. Good content helps to build your credibility and establish you as an expert in your field or niche. Credibility is essential to creating an atmosphere of trust in the online arena.

Having a way to communicate with those who have visited your site, because from a statistical marketing standpoint it takes about 7 visits before your prospects will make a purchase. This means you'll need to have a way to get their email addresses for followup email contact.

Offering something free is always a good idea, in exchange for an email address of course.

Getting links from other websites in your niche, preferrably ones with popular, high ranking sites.

Submitting your site to the search engine periodically, especially when you create it and when you have added new, fresh and original content.

These are just a few components which -- when implemented -- will improve your ranking with the three major search engines, Google, Yahoo and MSN. Of course using meta tags that contain your keywords (i.e. on this site the keywords would be "virtual assistant" "outsourcing" "administrative services" etc), your site description and title will also help some search engines to rank you higher. Having a good domain name with your keyword in it might get you a few points as well.

Getting a decent ranking with the search engines can take some time, but because so few website webmasters are trained in search engine optimization, you really gain a tremendous advantage even when you know just a little.

Contact Virtual Assistant Crosby to see if we can assist you in increasing your website presence. In most cases I will be able to not only optimize your site for the search engine but to direct you to free content written by others in your niche area that you can freely use on your site to help you further increase your credibility and establish yourself as an expert in your field.

Analyzing the competition, ie those on page one or two of the major search engines, and then taking a look at their backlinks (i.e. who is linking to them) is a tool which I'll use to determine whether I can assist you with your website optimization goals.

Sometimes, when you are in a highly competitive niche, SEO can take a little more time to achieve the results you desire. But even if you are in such a niche, focusing on one or two less popular keywords may also serve to get prospective clients and customers to your site as well (i.e. bring them in through the side door instead of the front). Just as long as they get in the door, right?

Ready to get started? Send me your URL (website address),  I'll take a look and tell you what I think it needs in order to drive more free traffic to it.
